I bet some of you are wondering: Why go to Roscoe's Chili Challenge?
The reasons are many and varied. Perhaps it's the chance to gather with old friends, and to reminisce over warm beer and cold food about the way things used to be. An occasion for remebrance of rides past, to commune with fellow riders and to get back in touch with nature. Some take the opportunity to make new freinds and welcome new riders into the fold and impart their wisdom upon them, so that they might continue our noble tradition...
We all have our reasons.
Well, at this writing, we're less than a month away from Roscoe's Chili Challenge 2007. Always the procrastinator, I give you a mish-mash of shots from the last couple years. This time, I actually made it early enough to get some chili, and boy, was it worth it. As I discovered, there's a lot more than chili happening before the beauty contest.
I have it on good authority that there will be body painting again this year, on top of your usual rabble rousing. So dust off your tent and go to www.roscoeschilichallenge.com for all the where's and what-for's.
